Ambassador of Ethiopia to China Visits Taihe Institute

On September 9, 2022, Taihe Institute (TI) held a seminar with a delegation from the Embassy of Ethiopia in Beijing. The delegation, led by H.E. Mr. Teshome Toga Chanaka, Ambassador of Ethiopia to China, included Mr. Muhammed Seid, Minister Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to China, Mr. Aragaw Tilahun, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Ethiopia in China, and Ms. Tensae Fetene, First Secretary of the Embassy of Ethiopia in China. Also attending the seminar were Ms. Li Rong, Senior Fellow of Taihe Institute and former Director of the West Asia and Africa Institute of China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations, Ms. He Wenping, Researcher from the Institute of West-Asian and African Studies (IWAAS) at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Mr. Wang Xiaoyong, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China-Africa Business Council and members of the TI Executive Council.

Both sides held candid and in-depth discussions on developments concerning the internal affairs of Ethiopia and other topics of common concern.
