On May 18th, 2022, Taihe Institute (TI) and the Iranian Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) co-hosted the webinar on “China-Iran Relations and Developments in the Middle East.” Topics discussed included “Bilateral Issues on China-Iran Future Cooperation” and “Regional Development in West Asia and East Asia.”
Distinguished Iranian guests invited were His Excellency Mohammad Hassan Sheikholeslami, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran and President of IPIS, H.E. Mohammad Keshavarz-Zadeh, Ambassador of Iran to China, H.E. Seyed Kazem Sajjadpour, Distinguished Senior Research Fellow of IPIS and former Ambassador of Iran to the United Nation in Geneva, Mr. Khalil Shirgolami, Deputy Director General for Research of IPIS, Professor Hassan Ahmadian of Tehran University, Mr. Alireza Miryousefi, Senior Research Fellow of IPIS, and Mr. Mahdi Zadehali, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing.
