Taihe Institute welcomes another distinguished expert and specialist in its ever-growing and strong research base. One of the most distinguished names in the field of digital industry chain cycle and artificial intelligence (AI), Lu Peili, joined Taihe Institute as a fellow on May 10, 2021.
A special ceremony was held at Taihe Institute in the presence of the Beijing-based independent think tank’s executives and senior fellows to welcome Lu.
She is an industry mentor at the School of Mathematical Sciences (SMS), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), a researcher at the Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) and ajury panel member for postgraduate viva at SJTU. She also has decade-long work experience at the Goldman Sachs Group and Merrill Lynch.
Lu is dedicated to the study of digital industry chain cycle and laid the foundation for the study of digitalizing industry chain cycle by creatively launching the “AI Industry Chain Map-Fields” in 2018.
Lu published various academic papers in leading journals and magazines in China and abroad, and authored the book titled From the Statistical World to Artificial Intelligence: Practices and Algorithms. She also gave lectures and carried out training programs for major financial management institutions, making outstanding contributions in research and education.
Lu’s expertise will further strengthen the research capacity of Taihe Institute in economics, science and technology and contribute to the world of knowledge in the much sought-after areas of artificial intelligence and digital industry chain cycle.
