Recently, Mr. Kentaro HATAKEYAMA, Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan in China, visited the Taihe Institute and exchanged ideas and views on China-U.S. relations, China-Japan relations, regional trade and the international political landscape.

China and Japan are close neighbors, enjoying deep historical and cultural connections and having important economic and trade ties. The Taihe Institute will continue to keep up with the dynamics in the Northeast Asia region as well as the China-Japan-ROK Free Trade Zone and be dedicated to working for the sustainable development of the regional economy.
