On August 19, 2020, a ceremony was held for Mr. Wang Xiangsui’s appointment as a senior fellow of the Taihe Institute.
Mr. Wang Xiangsui, a former Senior Colonel of PLAAF, is currently a professor and Director of the Center for Strategic Studies of Beihang University, Deputy Secretary-General of the CITIC Foundation, and editorial board member at the Economics Herald and Global Finance magazines. Having long been engaged in military and national security strategic research, he has participated in and presided over the research of numerous national and major military projects, and taken part in China-U.S., China-Europe, China-Japan and China-Russia Track II dialogues for many times. Mr. Wang Xiangsui’s main works include Unrestricted Warfare, China’s Role in the Future World, and The Evolution of Currency-Politics, and among which, Unrestricted Warfare was hailed by the Washington Post as the most influential Chinese book in the West in the past 40 years.
The joining of Mr. Wang Xiangsui will further strengthen the research capacity of the Taihe Institute in many areas, particularly in the fields of international relations and military security.
