On January 19, 14 young international scholars from Afghanistan, Algeria, Denmark, Egypt, Iran, Pakistan, Russia and Tajikistan, visited the Taihe Institute and discussed issues on the "Belt and Road" Initiative (BRI), climate change, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship.
The scholars come from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other well-known universities and research institutions, and their research fields cover the BRI, Cyber Security, Climate Change, International Relations, Sociology, Geology, Finance and other areas. They delivered sparkling speeches, conducted in-depth communications and exchanges of view, and came up with many forward-looking and innovative ideas.
Building an international platform to help young talents achieve their dreams is one of the Taihe Institute’s missions. In future, the Taihe Institute will continue to organize such exchange and sharing events among young international scholars in China in order to build a community of young people with a shared future.
