On the morning of January 13th, Cliff Kupchan, the Chairman of Eurasia Group, the world’s largest political-risk consultancy, had a discussion at Taihe Institute, sharing his views with research fellows on, among other topics, the international order, China-US relations, and the 2020 elections in the US.
Before joining Eurasia Group, Mr. Kupchan held a senior position at the US State Department during the Clinton administration. He previously worked for the House International Relations Committee of the US Congress, where he served as the top foreign policy adviser on global foreign assistance, North Africa, and Eurasia.
